8th grade students at Academy for Global Citizenship on the Southwest side of Chicago have the opportunity to travel to Guatemala or Puerto Rico for an impactful Service Learning Trip as a culminating experience of their elementary years. This trip allows students to engage in meaningful service for others, deepen their understanding of international mindedness, as well as develop independence and valuable life skills.
Students and families work hard to raise funds to make this trip possible, and every bag purchased helps students to raise their fundraising goals and provide a life-changing experience for these students!
Your support ensures that financial barriers don’t stand in the way of this once-in-a-lifetime experience. With every bag of coffee you purchase, $7 goes directly toward the service trip — helping students get one step closer to making a global impact.
